This Auto repair shop in Scottsdale, Arizona in Feb of 2018 with a focus on wanting to rank more for “auto repair” or “mechanic shop”. They did have an SEO strategy in place but it was getting a small amount of traffic. Traffic for this website was averaging about 122 visitors per month.
SEO KEYWORD RESEARCH
We researched the keywords for this industry to find that many people were searching for all types of auto repair and not just using auto repair keywords. They were searching for things like “transmission shop”, “brake repair”, “oil change” etc. These keywords were being searched with “keyword + city” and “keyword + near me” most often.
Most of the competition already had pages and posts for their individual services like oil changes and brake repair so we decided to the same for our client but be more descriptive, offer more explanation where some sites didn’t go in depth and more.
